For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

We Are Able to Overcome Obstacles

We Are Able This book is a sum total of down to earth biblical, hermeneutical, and day to day experiences that are written in a way of encouraging each reader to reach a zenith in one’s quest to be able to have a closer walk with God. We can overcome all of the diversities in a diversified world. Be bold enough to ask the Lord to fill your cup and let it overflow with love, peace, happiness, and contentment.

When you will have read this book, ask yourself “Am I at peace?” If not, have you inspected your fruit lately? The content in this book is not designed to make you feel guilty. This book is written to help each reader personally examine life’s fruit and to identify what kind of adjustments that are needed.

In all honesty, there is a vast stone that has many of us entombed, causing gigantic problems. These problems stem from people not willing to hear about their own self inflicted conditions and their causes. We would rather blame others for what’s going on in our lives. We are so possessed that we refuse to admit that we are in trouble.

Role models are needed. We must touch base with reality. There must be a sense of pride. We must get our children to think about their eternal fate. Is there not a future? Jeremiah asked in 8:22 “Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physcian there…?” You urged fathers, to let there be a concerted effort to take back the homes, streets and the communities. There must be a shift in the paradigm. David asked God in I Samuel 30:8 “Shall I pursue after the troop? Shall I overtake them?” God gave a clarion answer: “Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

On another occasion, David was strengthened in his encounters with Goliath by his remembrance that God delivered him from the bear and the lion. When you need to be strengthened, you ought to remember how God brought Israel out of slavery. Have you stopped to count your blessings? Have you named them one by one? You don’t have to be in combat to be grateful. Just think of the goodness of God and jump for joy. Every now and then you ought to reflect upon how good God has been. He sent his only begotten Son to pave the way for humanity. His Son is unchangeable. When I look at the immutability of Christ, I am striving never to give up. We are able to overcome obstacles that have been placed in our path.

Learning from the past can and should build strong bridges to the future. God is willing, ready and able to restore every fiber of our being. However, we must be willing and ready to be restored. We are told to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteous…” If you are weak and want to be strong, wake up out of your dream. I can think of no better time than now to make that conversion. Convert from the old life of worldly living to a new life of Godly living. You are able.

You are an overcomer. With God, all things are possible.
