It is the intent of the author to present a series of striking biblical facts, and issues paralleled with today. These facts indicate the many cages in which society as a whole is entrapped. Among the simplicity of life lies a major key to life. That key is waiting on God.
Waiting is probably one of the most difficult disciplines by which Christians are called to live. One of the reasons Christians are caught up in cages in life is the eagerness to take things into their own hands. We have a tendency to move without consulting God. We do not wait for the divine guidance. We often feel that our gestures will bring pleasure to God. We please Him by being patient and wait for His directions. The implication of this book is to get as many persons out of their cages. We must be careful not to mistake waiting for idleness. Waiting for God means total stillness. We must preference in our minds that we will not act until we receive directions from God.
Your cage door can be securely unlocked today. It calls for a commitment to follow directions given by God through His Son Jesus Christ aided by the Holy Spirit. Best wishes and God’s blessings upon you. Step out of your cage with bold confidence.
God sometimes leave our cage doors locked for our protection. He is trying to keep us from making additional mistakes. We are known to make bad choices. He keeps us behind locked doors to give us redirections. He sends us on a new path that can eventually lead to bigger opportunities, deeper commitment, and deeper satisfaction. Cage doors are sometimes left locked to test our faith. We must persevere in our walk with the Lord. Disobedience is another reason why cage doors remain locked. It is the author’s deep and sincere hope that your journey through this book takes you to an oasis for greater growth in the Lord.
The Bible does not tell us to make the Word work. It tells us to let the Word work. The Word is the key that can assist in unlocking our many cages. Sometimes we feel walled in by walls of insurmountable problems. When your cage door is opened, stay in a straight and narrow path. That path will eventually lead you to the Father’s house. When in doubt, make a right turn on believers Boulevard and keep straight. Go through the green light in the name of Jesus Christ. After going through the light, turn onto the bridge of faith that is situated over troubled waters. From the bridge make a right turn on Grace Street and proceed straight ahead. To avoid another cage get off on the King’s Highway that is heaven bound and go approximately three miles. You will travel one mile for the Father, one for the Son, and one for the Holy Ghost. You are advised to exit on Peace Avenue. From there, make a right turn on Gospel Lane and another right turn Prayer Road. You are encouraged to proceed, but yield not to the traffic on Temptation Avenue. Pass Envy Drive, Hate Lane, Persecution Boulevard, Hypocrite Street, Gossiping Lane, and Trial and Tribulation Avenue. If you were to adhere to all of the warning signs and stay in the straight and narrow, you will end up on Victory Drive. From Victory Drive, you will come upon the Pearly Gates where you will end up on the streets that are paved with gold.
